Caller ID: Thousand Oaks, CA. I answered. I could hear it click through to a call center and almost hung up. This is how the call went: They asked for my husband by name. He is not home, may I take a message? Is this Mrs. (without acknowledging the name), May I help you? The caller (female) himmed and hawed and then said..."I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas." and then hung up. She never said where she was calling from.
Called three times today and left no message.
They are calling twice a day I do not answer numbers that I do not know who it is. Has anybody talked them to find out what they want?

An unwanted call from this Santa Ynez VOIP number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller responded with dead silence. This is the tactic of robocallers, unlawful telemarketers who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
